While attending UC Berkeley and taking graduate-level courses in radio, I started to work at KCBS 106.9 FM and 740 AM during the afternoon shifts so I could concurrently work and go to school.
Here, I learned how to professionally clean audio to be ready to be broadcasted all over the SF Bay Area, as well as writing for anchors and podcast descriptions.
This was a story that I helped put together to be on the air for KCBS Radio – the anchor sent me the audio pieces, I did some light editing to make sure it sounded broadcast-ready and fit the
time constraints of the piece, and then scheduled it to be on the air.
Here's another story I helped clean up before broadcasting on KCBS.
